Musk: Tesla may build its own AI chip factory, producing millions of chips per month.

PANews reported on November 7th that Tesla CEO Elon Musk stated at the shareholder meeting on Thursday that Tesla may have to build a factory with a monthly production capacity of up to 1 million chips to manufacture artificial intelligence chips, and publicly considered collaborating with Intel. Tesla currently partners with TSMC and Samsung, but Musk did not rule out the possibility of joining forces with Intel. He told the shareholders present, "Perhaps we will collaborate with Intel. Although no agreement has been signed yet, it is worth discussing." Tesla is designing its fifth-generation artificial intelligence chip to drive its autonomous driving ambitions.
