PANews reported on December 19th that Near Protocol announced the official launch of its native token $NEAR on the Solana network, enabling seamless cross-chain support through NEAR Intents and Orb Markets. Users can now directly deposit and withdraw $NEAR on Solana without needing to configure multiple wallets or switch gas fee networks.
Near Protocol's NEAR token has now been cross-chained to the Solana network.
