A cryptocurrency holder in San Francisco was robbed by someone posing as a deliveryman, losing up to $11 million in crypto assets.

PANews reported on November 24th that, according to Decrypt, a man in San Francisco was attacked at gunpoint on Saturday morning by assailants posing as deliverymen. He was bound with duct tape and forced to hand over his encrypted wallet's private key and devices, resulting in a loss of up to $11 million. The incident occurred in the Mission Dolores community, and no arrests have been made yet. Security experts say that the frequency of such "wrench attacks" has surged this year, with over 60 recorded globally, far exceeding last year's figures. Police are simultaneously tracking the devices, their on-chain flows, and the victim's profile.
