유투데이에 따르면 이더허브(EthHub) 설립자 앤서니 사싸노가 트위터에서 이더리움 런던 하드포크가 8월 4일 실시될 것으로 예상했다. 구체적인 런던 하드포크 날짜는 오는 7월 9일 이더리움 코어 개발자 회의에서 발표될 전망이다. 런던 하드포크에는 EIP-1559가 포함된다. EIP-1559는 이더리움 수수료로 인한 거래 실패 문제를 개선하기 위한 솔루션이다. 한편 크립토퀀트는 암호화폐 거래소 이더리움 잔액이 2.5년만에 최저치를 기록했다고 전했다.
