Changpeng Zhao: Today’s crypto market turmoil may stem from FUD that Alpha will not list certain tokens in the future

PANews reported on October 9th that Zhao Changpeng posted on the X platform: "I spent the entire day in Bahrain attending an offline conference, which included an on-stage fireside chat. It's been a bloody day in the cryptocurrency market today. I'm not sure exactly what happened, but I think it stemmed from a rumor that Alpha wouldn't list certain tokens in the future, which was quickly proven false. However, the damage has already been done. When enough people are misled by FUD, it has this unfortunate effect. Whether the market is good or bad, people often praise me, but I haven't actually done anything. I've been busy all day. I often see headlines like: "BlackRock sells Bitcoin" or "Binance sells Bitcoin." The correct headlines should be "BlackRock clients sold Bitcoin" or "Binance users sold Bitcoin." Finally, I support the use of decentralized self-custodial wallets to access memecoins or any cryptocurrency. Manage risks properly. Keep working hard to build."
