Genius or devil? The life of Epstein, so unbelievable even if made into a movie.

This article chronicles the controversial and mysterious life of financier Jeffrey Epstein, connecting his rise among global elites to recent conspiracy theories, including potential links to cryptocurrency market movements.

  • Early Rise & Financial Beginnings: Despite dropping out of college, Epstein's perceived genius led to a teaching job at the elite Dalton School, where he connected with wealthy parents. He was hired by Bear Stearns in 1976, becoming a limited partner by 26, but was forced out in 1981.
  • Building a Shadow Empire: He founded J. Epstein & Co., serving ultra-wealthy clients and allegedly helping run a Ponzi scheme. A major breakthrough was meeting Leslie Wexner (owner of Victoria's Secret), who granted him sweeping power of attorney over billions.
  • Network of Power & Abuse: Epstein joined the Trilateral Commission in 1989, gaining access to figures like Henry Kissinger. With associate Ghislaine Maxwell, he cultivated a network involving Prince Andrew, Bill Clinton, Donald Trump, and later figures like Bill Gates and Elon Musk, using his "Lolita Express" plane and properties to facilitate alleged sex trafficking.
  • Legal Troubles & Suspicious Death: Investigated from 2005, he secured a controversial plea deal in 2008, serving 13 months under lenient "work release." He was arrested in 2019 for sex trafficking but died by alleged suicide in jail. New documents (2026) fuel conspiracy theories, suggesting evidence of email activity after his death and a possible body double.
  • Cryptocurrency & Conspiracy Theories: The article speculates on Epstein's early involvement with Bitcoin and suggests his mysterious life and death—including oddities in his aging compared to Trump—fuel beliefs he faked his death or was a non-human entity, with his story intertwined with market events.

The recent plunge in the cryptocurrency market might be related to Epstein. Today, I've compiled a list of his legendary life stories, hoping it will be helpful for navigating the world.

According to publicly available information, Epstein was born in 1953. His father was a gardener and his mother was a housewife—an ordinary family.

Epstein's meteoric rise began in 1970, when he was studying mathematics and physics at Cooper Union in New York.

Although his professors reportedly said he had exceptional academic talent and was even considered a genius, he did not graduate.

In 1972, Epstein transferred to the Courant Institute of Mathematics at New York University, but he once again chose to drop out without obtaining a degree.

In 1974, 21-year-old Epstein was hired as a math and physics teacher at the prestigious Dalton School in Manhattan without any teaching qualifications.

The principal at the time was Donald Barr (father of former Attorney General William Barr), who hired him because he appreciated his "unconventional talents".

Dalton was a gathering place for the children of New York's super-rich, and Epstein was very popular among the students.

He was the only teacher who would attend high school alcohol parties, and during this time he forged connections with several wealthy parents that went beyond the teacher-student relationship.

In 1976, Epstein was expelled from Dalton School, possibly because of his inappropriate behavior with students.

However, one of his students' parents, Bear Stearns CEO Alan Greenberg, was impressed by his "intelligence and talent" and immediately recruited him to Bear Stearns.

He started as a junior trader assistant and within just a few months demonstrated a strong understanding of complex options and tax avoidance structures.

At Bear Stearns, he focused on providing tax avoidance strategies for extremely high-net-worth individuals, which is why Epstein was known at the time as a "tax cleaner," specializing in dealing with financial loopholes in the legal gray areas.

In 1979, 26-year-old Epstein was promoted to a limited partner at Bear Stearns, a promotion that was almost unbelievable at the time!

Despite being hailed as the "youngest partner," Epstein was forced to resign by Bear Stearns in 1981 due to misconduct (reportedly involving inflated expenses and some non-compliant option transactions).

In 1982, Epstein founded his own company, "J. Epstein & Company," and established an extremely arrogant rule: he would only accept clients with assets of more than $1 billion.

In 1983, Epstein gained a major client, Hofenberg, whose Towers Financial was later proven to be one of the largest Ponzi schemes in U.S. history.

Newly disclosed Epstein documents reveal that Epstein served as a financial advisor, helping Hoffenberg conceal bad debts through a complex network of offshore companies.

After being imprisoned, Hofenberg insisted that "Epstein was the mastermind behind this hoax," before dying mysteriously in 2022.

Around 1986, through insurance tycoon Robert Maitland, Epstein met Leslie Wexner, the owner of Victoria's Secret.

Wexner granted him a "Power of Attorney," which meant that Epstein could directly access and transfer billions of dollars of his assets without Wexner's direct involvement, and sign any documents on his behalf.

In 1988, Epstein began seeking privacy in the U.S. Virgin Islands. He set his sights on the area around Little Saint James Island and began setting up his offshore company structure.

That same year, he moved into Wexner’s Manhattan mega-mansion (9 East 71st Street), which later became the central location for his sex-for-power deals.

Epstein officially joined the Trilateral Commission in 1989, which placed him among the global elite.

The Trilateral Commission (TC) is an international elite organization often shrouded in conspiracy theories, but in reality, it wields considerable real-world influence. It was founded in 1973 by David Rockefeller and renowned geostrategist Zbigniew Brzezinski.

After joining the Trilateral Commission, Epstein had private contact with figures such as Henry Kissinger, Kasper Weinberg (former US Secretary of Defense), and several future European heads of state.

In 1991, British media mogul Robert Maxwell mysteriously disappeared on his yacht (and died after falling into the sea), and his daughter Ghislaine Maxwell went into hiding in New York.

Epstein and Gislan met at a party in New York and quickly developed into a couple and business partner. Gislan then helped Epstein recruit beautiful women around the world.

Through Gislan, Epstein met Prince Andrew, who was at the height of his prestige in Britain at the time.

In 1992, Epstein purchased a villa in Palm Beach, Florida, and began to reside there permanently.

Epstein began entering and leaving the White House in 1993. According to the latest Epstein documents, he entered the White House at least three times in 1993 and donated $10,000 to the White House Historical Association.

In 1994, Epstein became a regular visitor to Trump's Mar-a-Lago estate.

In 1995, Prince Andrew of the United Kingdom visited Epstein's Manhattan mansion for the first time, and Epstein began to provide him with "special services" and social privileges.

Also in 1995, Epstein purchased a Boeing 727 (the famous "Lolita Express") and began to invite dignitaries to ride on it on a large scale.

At this time, Epstein also began to appear in salons of some early Silicon Valley elites, demonstrating his strong interest in future technologies (such as early Internet architecture).

Newly released documents confirm that Epstein completed the installation of digital surveillance systems in his Manhattan mansion in 1996. This surveillance targeted not only victims but also visiting dignitaries.

In 1998, as a senior member of the Trilateral Commission, Epstein began acting as an unofficial intermediary in some informal negotiations involving Israel and the Middle East.

In 2001, after Bill Clinton left office as President of the United States, Epstein became his core benefactor.

That same year, he met Lawrence Summers, then president of Harvard University (later U.S. Treasury Secretary), and helped him pursue Jin Keyu unsuccessfully (continue to follow the drama: Epstein helped the U.S. Treasury Secretary, harassing and seducing mature women...).

In 2002, Epstein took Clinton, Kevin Spacey, and others on the Lolita Express to Africa to carry out so-called charity activities.

The newly declassified documents include the internal logs of the voyage, which show that a large number of "unregistered women" boarded the plane midway through the voyage.

In 2023, Epstein began initial contact with the young Musk to discuss the grand topic of "the continuation of human civilization."

In 2005, the Palm Beach Police Department in Florida began a secret investigation into Epstein after a victim's parent filed a police report.

In 2026, the FBI launched an investigation codenamed "Operation Ghost," but an internal email within the Department of Justice at the time explicitly stated: "His friends are too powerful, and we need to handle this with caution."

In 2007, federal prosecutor Acosta secured a nonprosecution agreement (NPA) in exchange for Epstein pleading guilty to a misdemeanor in state court and serving his sentence.

In short, Epstein permanently locked himself out of and exempted himself from more serious federal sex crime charges through a mere 13 months of semi-free “paid leave” imprisonment.

Therefore, when the financial crisis broke out in 2008, Epstein was in a Florida prison.

However, he did not serve his time in jail properly. Because he was granted "paid work release" privileges, he spent 12 hours a day in his office.

Moreover, the latest documents reveal that during the collapse of Lehman Brothers in 2008, he used insider information to hedge a large number of positions, not only avoiding losses during the crisis but also increasing his net worth by approximately $300 million.

Epstein was released from prison in 2009 and immediately resumed his activities in high society.

In 2011, Epstein met Bill Gates for the first time in New York and called Gates "the most ideal long-term strategic partner".

The latest Epstein documents reveal that Gates contracted sexually transmitted diseases after having relationships with several "Russian girls." Furthermore, Gates requested antibiotics from Epstein and attempted to "secretly give" these drugs to Melinda without informing his wife.

While Gates denied the allegations, his ex-wife Melinda said in a recent interview that the details made her "extremely sad" and brought back painful memories of their marriage.

In the years that followed, Epstein became deeply involved in the development of Bitcoin. (Epstein didn't die? He invested in Bitcoin in 2011, and it even made it onto US dollar bills!)

In July 2019, Epstein was arrested at an airport in New Jersey upon arrival from France on charges of sex trafficking of minors.

On August 10, 2019, Epstein was found dead at the Metropolitan Correctional Center (MCC) in New York.

Analysis of raw prison surveillance data released in January 2026 revealed that Epstein requested to see an unnamed "legal advisor" within 48 hours before his death, and the advisor's identity remains highly obscured in the latest files.

Some conspiracy theorists believe that it was during this meeting that someone arranged for a body double to replace Epstein, which is why the outlines of Epstein's nose and ears in the autopsy photos do not match his features in life.

Furthermore, after the U.S. Department of Justice released approximately 3 million pages of raw email data (including metadata) in January 2026, Reddit users discovered anomalies by comparing the email headers and IMAP login records: at least two encrypted email accounts under Epstein's name still had successful IP login records between September and November 2019 (i.e., several months after his death).

Reddit has removed some comments containing direct download links in the past 48 hours for "violating privacy policies (involving a list of unredacted victims)".

Some even believe that Epstein was not human!

Although a massive amount of Epstein documents were released and he has always lived in the spotlight, his earliest color photo is of him with Trump in 1992, with only a few blurry early black-and-white photos available to fill the gap.

It's worth noting that Trump was born in 1946, making him seven years older than Epstein.

In 1992, Trump was 46 years old and Epstein was 39, but Epstein looked much older than Trump, who looked much younger.

By the time Epstein died in 2019, Trump was already very old, while Epstein seemed to have remained forever young.

Therefore, some people believe that Epstein may have been a real devil.

PS: This host is Steve Bannon, the mastermind behind Trump's 2016 election victory and former White House Chief Strategist.

Bannon's presence during the interview was completely overshadowed by Epstein; I highly recommend watching it.
