PANews reported on August 27 that according to The Information, the new SOL treasury company "Solana Co" was jointly launched by Pantera Capital, Summer Capital and Avenir Group, two Asian strategic partners.

Founded in 2017, Summer Capital is one of the earliest licensed financial institutions in Asia to invest in the digital asset sector. Its portfolio includes Hashkey, Immutable, Upbit, and Animoca. Avenir Group, founded by Li Lin, is a cutting-edge investment group with a global vision, focusing on investments in financial innovation and cutting-edge technology, with operations in the United States, the United Kingdom, Japan, Singapore, and Hong Kong.

Earlier news reported that Pantera Capital plans to raise US$1.25 billion to acquire the listed company Solana Investment and rename it "Solana Co."
