FTX CEO "아즈텍 zk머니 이용자 계정 동결 안 했다"

샘 뱅크먼 프리드 FTX CEO가 아즈텍(Aztec)의 zk머니로 코인을 보낸 이용자 계정을 FTX가 동결했다는 내용의 우블록체인 보도가 사실이 아니라며 반박했다. 그는 "(우블록체인 보도 내용이) 왜곡됐다. FTX는 AML 규정을 준수하기 위해 거래 모니터링을 강화했지만, 그렇다고 해서 계정을 동결하진 않았다"고 트위터를 통해 밝혔다. 이와 관련 아즈텍 네트워크는 공식 트위터를 통해 "FTX가 사용자에 아즈텍/zk머니 이용 계정과 거래 금지를 요청한 것으로 알고 있다. FTX에 연락을 취해 입장을 이해했으며, 우리는 아즈텍 네트워크를 불법적으로 이용하는 사용자의 프라이버시를 유지해 줄 수 없다. 파트너와 협력을 통해 도난 자금을 세탁하려는 이용자를 식별하고 아즈텍 시스템 외부에서 그들의 정보를 공개할 수 있다"고 밝혔다.
