핀볼드에 따르면 알렉시스 오헤니언(Alexis Ohanian) 레딧 공동 창립자가 이끄는 VC 세븐세븐식스(Seven Seven Six)가 암호화폐 분야 첫 직접 진출을 계획하고 있다. 세븐세븐식스는 1.77억 달러 규모의 펀드 조성을 계획하고 있다. 펀드 명칭은 크립토스(Kryptós)로 시장가격 하락에 따라 평소 대비 저렴하게 거래되는 암호화폐에 집중 투자할 계획이다. 세븐세븐식스 창립 파트너인 케이트린 할로웨이(Katelin Holloway)는 "암호화폐 업계에 오래 있었다면 지금이 매수하기에 가장 좋은 시기라는 사실을 알 수 있을 것이다. 모든것을 다 살 수 있다"고 말했다.
