코인데스크에 따르면 뱅크오브아메리카는 지난주 금요일 보고서에서 FTX/알라메다 리서치의 파산은 암호화폐 업계 신뢰도에 큰 타격을 줬지만 희망은 있다고 진단했다. BofA 애널리스트 Alkesh Shah와 Andrew Moss는 "규제가 시급해지면서 제도권 참여가 확대될 수 있으며, 투기 거래에서 실제 기능을 갖춘 프로젝트와 수익성 로드맵이 있는 회사로 초점(및 자본)이 이동하면 산업이 빠르게 성숙해질 수 있다"고 분석했다. 이어 암호화폐 산업 규제는 메인스트림 어답션(주류 채택)에 매우 중요하며, 소비자와 투자자를 보호하기 위해 전 세계 각국의 조율이 필요하다고 강조했다. 또 상위 100개 암호화폐가 연초 대비 64% 하락했지만 2016년 말 이후로는 여전히 2175% 상승했다며, 디지털 자산을 무시하는 비용이 높다고 덧붙였다.
