오디널스(Ordinals)를 통해 비트코인에서 'BRC-20' 밈토큰이 발행되고 있다고 디크립트가 보도했다. 누군가 비트코인 블록체인에서 ERC-20 토큰처럼 '대체 가능한 토큰'을 발행하는 방법을 알아낸 것. 이에 힘입어 3월 9일 오디널스 인스크립션 일일 발행량이 31692개를 기록하며 역대 최대치에 달했다. Domo라는 익명의 트위터 유저는 수요일(현지시간) 재미 삼아 BRC-20 기반 Ordi를 발행했으며, 이외에 Doge, Pepe, Meme이라는 이름의 여러 BRC-20 토큰들이 생겨나기 시작했다. 모두 텍스트 기반 인스크립션이다. 지난주 갤럭시 리서치가 발표한 보고서에 따르면 비트코인 NFT 시장은 2025년까지 $45억 규모를 형성할 것으로 전망된다.
