코인데스크에 따르면 블록체인 기반 소셜 미디어 프로젝트 렌즈 프로토콜(Lens)이 커뮤니티 구성원의 향후 개발 관련 의사 결정 프로세스 참여를 지원하기 위해 개방형 거버넌스 모델을 적용한다. LIP(Lens Improvement Proposals)은 이더리움 및 아베 모델을 참고한 것으로 개발자, 크리에이터, 사용자가 향후 렌즈 프로토콜의 개발 관련 의사 결정 프로세스에 참여할 수 있도록 지원하는 프레임워크를 구축하게 된다.
