외신에 따르면 홍콩 BC 테크놀로지 그룹(BC Technology Group) 이사회가 블룸버그의 'OSL 매각 보도'는 사실이 아니라고 밝혔다. 이사회는 "해당 보도 내용이 사실과 다르며, 오해 소지가 매우 높다. 해당 보도가 17일 회사 주가에 영향을 미쳤다"고 전했다. 앞서 블룸버그는 "BC 테크놀로지가 산하 암호화폐 거래소 OSL에 10억 홍콩달러(약 1억 2800만 달러) 가치를 매기고, OSL 인수자를 찾고 있다"고 전한 바 있다.
