진써차이징에 따르면 크리스토퍼 후이(Christopher Hui) 홍콩 금융 서비스 및 재무국 국장은 "홍콩 가상자산사업자(VASP) 라이선스 발급 제도 1년 과도기간이 곧 끝난다. 홍콩의 모든 VASP는 오는 2월 29일까지 라이선스 신청서를 제출해야 한다. 이날까지 라이선스를 신청하지 않거나 SFC(증권선물위원회)로부터 비인가 통지를 받은 사업자는 홍콩에서 사업을 중단해야 한다"고 말했다.
