블룸버그에 따르면, 세계 최대 암호화폐 자산운용사 그레이스케일(Grayscale Investments LLC)의 모기업인 디지털커런시그룹(DCG)의 지난해 4분기 매출이 전년 동기 대비 약 59% 증가한 2.1억 달러를 기록했다. DCG는 이날 4분기 에비타(EBITDA, 법인세, 이자, 감가상각비 차감 전 영업이익)는 약 9,900만 달러를 기록했다고 덧붙였다. 이와 관련 블룸버그는 "DCG의 매출 급증은 암호화폐 시장의 호황과 직결된다. 이날 DCG가 투자자들에게 보낸 서한에 따르면 2023년 연말 기준 DCG가 보유하고 있는 암호화폐 토큰, 그레이스케일 신탁 주식, 벤처 및 펀드 투자금, 주식 등을 포함한 포트폴리오는 약 9.75억 달러로 표시됐다"고 설명했다.
