코인데스크가 크라켄 OTC 분석을 인용해 "이더리움(ETH)은 어센딩 트라이앵글 패턴 상방 돌파로 사상 최고가인 5,200 달러까지 상승할 수 있다"고 전했다. 크라켄 OTC는 "ETH는 주봉 기준 어센딩 트라이앵글 패턴의 상단 저항선인 2,141 달러를 돌파한 뒤 이를 내주지 않은 채 상승세를 지속하고 있다. 이번 패턴 완성에 따른 단기 목표는 5,200 달러로, 사상 최고치를 경신할 가능성이 높다. 일목균형표(Ichimoku cloud) 등 다른 지표들도 ETH의 강세를 시사하고 있다"고 설명했다.
