그레이스케일, 수수료 낮춘 BTC 현물 ETF 신청서 제출

코인데스크에 따르면 그레이스케일이 미국 증권거래위원회(SEC)에 기존 GBTC보다 수수료가 낮은 비트코인 현물 ETF(Grayscale Bitcoin Mini Trust) S-1(ETF 정식 신청서)를 제출했다. 티커는 BTC이며, 운용 수수료는 아직 공개하지 않았다. 다만, 낮은 수수료를 내세운 일부 BTC 현물 ETF와 견주어도 뒤떨어지지 않을 것이라는 게 그레이스케일의 설명이다. 또한 신청서에 따르면 GBTC가 보유한 일부 비트코인이 BTC ETF로 할당되며 기존 GBTC 보유자는 그에 따라 새로운 BTC ETF를 받게 된다. 이 과정에서 양도소득세는 발생하지 않는다.
