코인데스크에 따르면 유럽연합(EU) 의회가 암호화폐 서비스 제공업체에도 적용되는 새로운 금융 제재 법안을 통과시켰다. 해당 법안은 러시아가 EU 금융 제재를 우회하고 있다는 우려 속에서 고안된 법안으로, 제재 대상 국가 및 기관과 거래할 경우 암호화폐를 포함한 자산을 동결할 수 있다는 내용이 포함됐다.
