나이지리아 당국이 현지에 구금됐다 탈출한 바이낸스 아프리카 지역 담당자 나딤 안자르왈라(Nadeem Anjarwalla)의 체포 및 인도를 위해 국제형사경찰기구(인터폴)에 협조를 요청한 것으로 알려졌다. 디크립트는 현지 언론을 인용, "나이지리아 경제금융범죄위원회(EFCC)는 안자르 왈라의 나이지리아 인도를 위해 인터폴은 물론 FBI, 영국 및 케냐 정부에 협조를 요청했다"고 전했다.
