온체인 분석업체 글래스노드가 X를 통해 "비트코인 반감기 당일 룬즈(Runes) 관련 트랜잭션에서 총 6,240만 달러 상당 수수료 수익이 발생했지만, 현재 룬즈 관련 트랜잭션 수수료는 103만 달러 수준으로 급감했다"고 전했다. 반감기 이후 룬즈 관련 트랜잭션에서는 누적 1억 1,700만 달러 상당 수수료가 발생했다. 룬즈는 비트코인 블록체인에서 대체 가능 토큰을 생성하기 위해 고안된 프로토콜로, 오디널스 프로토콜 창시자 케이시 로다모어(Casey Rodarmor)가 BRC-20 토큰 표준의 대안으로 개발했다.
