연합뉴스에 따르면 철원 민간인 통제구역 내 테마파크 조성을 명목으로 380억원대 가상화폐 투자사기를 벌인 업체 회장이 1심에서 징역 12년을 선고받았다. 수원지법 성남지원 형사1부는 특정경제범죄 가중처벌 등에 관한 법률 위반(횡령) 등 혐의로 구속기소 된 A 업체 회장에게 이 같은 징역형과 벌금 25억원을 선고했다. 재판부는 "피고인은 조직적으로 부동산개발을 미끼로 가상화폐를 발행·판매함으로써 수천 명의 피해자을 기망해 합계 약 380억원이 넘는 돈을 편취했다"고 판시했다.
