블록체인 보안 전문가 잭XBT(ZachXBT)가 X를 통해 "암호화폐 거래소 DMM비트코인 해커의 정체는 북한의 해커그룹 라자루스로 추정된다"고 밝혔다. 그는 "이 해커는 캄보디아 대기업 후이원 그룹(Huione Group)이 운영하는 온라인 마켓 후이원 개런티(Huione Guarantee)에서 최근 3500만 달러 규모의 자금을 세탁한 것으로 추정된다. 자금세탁 방식과 오프체인 지표 등을 고려했을 때, 이 해커는 북한의 라자루스 그룹일 가능성이 매우 크다"고 설명했다.
