암호화폐 온체인 애널리스트 엠버CN(EmberCN)이 X를 통해 “월드코인 재단이 7월 24일(현지시간)부터 토큰 언락에 들어간다. 투자자 및 팀 물량 중 23억 8천만 WLD(55억 4500만 달러)가 향후 4년 동안 선형적으로 베스팅 된다. 일일 평균 약 163만 WLD 수준이다. 월드코인 재단은 4시간 전 9억 9천만 WLD를 익명 주소로 전송하는 등 언락을 준비하고 있다"고 전했다. 앞서 월드코인 재단은 “월드코인 개발사 툴스포휴머니티(Tools For Humanity)의 투자자, 팀원에 할당된 WLD 물량 중 약 80%에 대한 언락 기간이 기존 3년에서 5년으로 연장됐다. 이에 따라 해당 물량은 향후 4년에 걸쳐 매일 일정량씩 언락된다”고 밝힌 바 있다.
