룩온체인은 "3.3년 동안 휴면 상태였던 수백개 지갑에서 789,533 ETH(20억 달러)가 이동 중이다. 이 주소들을 추적한 결과 다단계 스캠 플러스토큰 관련 주소인 것을 확인했다. 플러스토큰 폰지2(Plus Token Ponzi 2) 주소는 2020년 789,533 ETH를 수천개 지갑에 분산 이체한 적이 있으며, 2021년 4월 이후로는 잠잠했다. 과거 중국 경찰은 플러스토큰 사건을 조사하며 194,775 BTC(112억 달러), 833,083 ETH(21.1억 달러), 4.87억 XRP(2.52억 달러), 79,581 BCH(2580만 달러), 140만 LTC(8230만 달러), 2760만 EOS(1270만 달러), 74,167 DASH(170만 달러), 60억 DOGE(6.09억 달러), 213,724 USDT를 압수한 바 있다"고 전했다. 플러스토큰은 2019년 당시 6조원대 피해를 낳은 다단계 스캠 프로젝트다.
