크립토슬레이트에 따르면 블랙록 디지털자산 헤드 로비 미치닉은 암호화폐 업계가 비트코인 관련 마케팅 실수를 저질렀다고 진단했다. 그는 블룸버그 인터뷰에서 "비트코인은 위험한 자산이긴 하지만, '리스크온(위험선호) 자산'이라고 부르는 건 자책골 같은 실수다. 비트코인은 주식 등 다른 위험 자산과는 다른 방식으로 작동한다. 비트코인은 희소성, 글로벌, 탈중앙, 비주권적 특징을 갖고 있고, 국가별, 거래 상대방 리스크가 없다. 또 금과 마찬가지로 장기적으로 미국 주식과 상관관계가 없다"고 설명했다.
