코인데스크에 따르면 미국 법원이 상품선물거래위원회(CFTC)의 암호화폐 기반 예측마켓 칼시(Kalshi) 선거 베팅 금지 명령 요청을 기각했다. 앞서 CFTC는 이 사건 항소가 진행되는 동안 칼시가 선거와 관련된 베팅 서비스를 제공하지 못하도록 명령해야 한다고 요청한 바 있다. 재판부는 CFTC가 심리에서 자신들의 주장을 충분히 입증하지 못했기 때문에 이를 기각한다"고 설명했다.
