월스트리트저널(WSJ)이 미국 연방 당국이 세계 최대 스테이블코인 USDT 발행사 테더에 대한 조사를 진행하는 것으로 알려졌다고 보도한 가운데, 테더 CEO 파올로 아르도이노(Paolo Ardoino)가 자신의 X를 통해 "그런 적 없다"고 반박했다. 그는 "테더에 대한 조사가 진행 중이라는 징후는 없다. WSJ는 오래된 소문을 되풀이하고 있을 뿐이다. 그만 좀 하라"고 강조했다.
