블록체인 기술 개발사 블록스트림(Blockstream) CEO이자 비트코인 맥시멀리스트 아담 백(Adam Back)이 포브스와의 인터뷰에서 "미국 비트코인 현물 ETF 출시 덕분에 기관 상용화 측면에서 BTC가 빠른 성장을 이뤘다"고 평가했다. 그는 "이제 은행을 포함한 금융 기관들이 BTC에 더 큰 관심을 갖게 됐다"며 "BTC는 빠르게 성장했고, 초기 기술적 리스크도 거의 사라졌다"고 밝혔다. 이어 "다만 블록체인 네트워크는 여전히 혁신이 필요하다. 블록체인을 확장하는 일이 개선돼야 한다"고 덧붙였다.
