주기영 크립토퀀트 CEO가 X를 통해 “현재 약 433만 대의 ASIC 채굴기가 비트코인 네트워크를 지원하고 있다. 올해에만 약 82만 6,000 대의 채굴기가 네트워크에 추가로 합류했으며, 이는 전년 대비 약 23% 증가한 수준"이라고 분석했다. 이어 그는 "최근 BTC의 사상 최고 해시레이트 경신은 채굴 칩 성능 향상보단 절대적인 채굴기 수량 증가에 기인한 것"이라며 "기관급 채굴자들이 올인하고 있다는 것이 무엇을 의미하는지 생각해볼 때"라고 덧붙였다.
