미국 시카고상품거래소 페드워치(CME Fedwatch)에 따르면, 트레이더들은 미국 연방준비제도(Fed·연준)가 12월 18일(현지시간) FOMC 회의에서 기준금리를 25bp 인하할 확률을 87.3%로 내다보고 있다. 이는 일주일 전 66%보다 약 21.3%p 상승한 수치다. 또 트레이더들은 이번 FOMC 회의에서 연준의 금리 동결 가능성을 12.7%로 점쳤다.
