워처구루에 따르면 위즈덤트리 소속 수석 경제학자 제레미 시겔(Jeremy Siegel)이 "향후 다수의 국가가 미국 달러 보유고를 비트코인으로 대체하게 될 것"이라고 말했다. 그는 "미국 달러의 최대 위협은 브라질, 러시아, 인도, 중국, 남아프리카공화국 등 신흥 경제 5개국 연합체 브릭스(BRICS)가 아닌 비트코인"이라고 강조했다.
