글로브뉴스와이어에 따르면 캐나다 블록체인 및 암호화폐 기술 회사인 DMG 블록체인 솔루션(DMG Blockchain Solutions)이 2024년 재무 보고서를 발표, 올해 연간 비트코인 채굴량이 전년 대비 43% 감소한 502.5 BTC를 기록했다고 밝혔다. 평균 해시레이트는 0.96 EH/s로 전년 대비 21% 증가했다. DMG는 "내년 2월 말까지 해시레이트를 2.1EH/s로 늘릴 예정이며, 연말까지 3EH/s로 추가 확장해 효율성을 높일 계획"이라고 전했다.
