비트코인 가격 예측 모델 '스톡 투 플로우(S2F) 모델'을 고안한 유명 애널리스트 플랜비(PlanB)가 X를 통해 "올해 BTC가 50만 달러를 돌파할 것이란 내 전망은 변함없다"고 밝혔다. 그는 "지난해 4월 반감기가 도래한 뒤 BTC가 가격 상승세를 보이다가 10만 달러를 돌파할 것이란 내 예상도 현재까지 모두 적중했다"고 설명했다.
