메타플래닛, BTC 전략 자산 도입 이후 시총 첫 $10억 달성

비트코인을 주요 자산으로 편입한 일본 상장사 메타플래닛(Metaplanet) 최고경영자(CEO) 사이먼 게로비치(Simon Gerovich)가 X를 통해 “메타플래닛이 지난해 4월 비트코인 매입 및 보유 전략을 채택한 이후 처음으로 시가총액 10억 달러를 돌파했다. 비트코인은 상장 기업을 위한 최고의 전략 자산”이라고 말했다. 메타플래닛은 현재 1,762 BTC를 보유하고 있으며, 2025년까지 비트코인 보유량을 10,000 BTC로 늘리겠다고 발표한 바 있다.
