인디펜던트에 따르면 아일랜드 트리니티 칼리지(Trinity College)가 블록체인 연구를 위해 리플과 파트너십을 체결했다고 밝혔다. 트리니티 칼리지는 리플의 UBRI 프로그램(University Blockchain Research Initiative, UBRI)을 통해 2년 간 20만 달러를 지원받을 예정이다. 앞서 트리니티칼리지는 지난해 리플이 주도하는 대학 블록체인 연구 이니셔티브(UBRI)에 합류한 바 있다.
