외신 "마이크로스트래티지, 보유 BTC 미실현 수익에 소득세 내야 할 수도"

코인텔레그래프가 "단일 기업 기준 비트코인을 가장 많이 보유하고 있는 마이크로스트래티지(나스닥 티커:MSTR)는 2022년 통과된 인플레이션 완화법에 따라 보유 BTC의 미실현 수익에 세금을 납부해야 할 수 있다"고 보도했다. 매체는 "해당 법에 따라 마이크로스트래티지는 15%의 세율로 소득세를 내야 할 수 있다. 현재 마이크로스트래티지는 BTC 매입을 통해 193억 달러 이상의 미실현 수익을 거두고 있다. 다만 도널드 트럼프 미국 대통령의 친암호화폐 행정부 구성에 따라 미국 국세청(IRS)는 BTC에 면세 혜택을 제공할 가능성도 있다"고 부연했다.
