코인데스크에 따르면 솔라나 기반 토큰 발행 플랫폼 펌프닷펀이 증권법 위반 관련 집단소송에 직면했다. 해당 기업 및 임원진이 미국 증권법을 위반, 수수료로 약 5억 달러를 챙겼다는 주장이다. 소송 원고는 특히 FWOG, FRED, GRIFFAIN 등 밈코인 거래로 인해 돈을 잃었다고 강조했다. 지난 1월 초에도 펌프닷펀은 지난 수개월간 인종차별, 불법 약물 사용, 폭력 등 반사회적 내용을 담은 글의 게시로 수억달러 수수료를 챙겼다는 주장과 함께, 집단소송 당한 바 있다.
