코인텔레그래프가 "비트코인 채굴업체들의 월간 채굴량이 채굴 난이도 상승에 따라 감소하고 있다"고 전했다. Hut8, 마라홀딩스, 비트팜스 등 채굴업체들의 지난 1월 채굴량은 전월(2024년 12월) 대비 감소세를 보였고, 채굴량이 증가한 곳은 라이엇플랫폼이 유일했다. BTC 채굴 난이도는 지난 1월 27일 2.12% 하락한 108.11T를 기록했으며, 다음 난이도 조정은 약 4일 뒤로, 111.04 T를 기록할 것으로 전망된다.
