비트코인 ETF 전문 뉴스레터 플랫폼 플로우스테이트 공동 설립자 줄리안 파러(Julian Fahrer)에 따르면, 미국 뉴멕시코주 하원의원 앤서니 손튼(Anthony Thornton)이 뉴멕시코 상원에 공공자금의 5%를 비트코인에 투자할 것을 제안하는 전략적 BTC 준비금 법안을 발의했다. 법안에서는 BTC 투자를 통해 주 정부 자금을 다각화와 가격 상승으로 인한 수혜를 기대할 수 있다고 언급했다.
