폭스비즈니스 기자 엘리노어 테렛이 X를 통해 "미국 증권거래위원회(SEC) 새 집행부가 출범한 뒤 처음으로 암호화폐 기업과의 소송을 일시 중단해달라고 법원에 요청했다"고 전했다. SEC는 최근 출범한 암호화폐 태스크포스가 해당 사건에 영향을 미칠 수 있다며 바이낸스를 상대로 제기한 소송을 60일 간 일시 중단해달라고 이날 요청했다. 바이낸스도 이에 대한 동의서를 함께 제출했다. 양측은 60일 이후 소송 중단 기한을 연장할 것인지 추가로 결정하게 된다.
