국내 블록체인 투자사 해시드(Hashed) 공동설립자 김성호(Ryan Kim)가 X를 통해 "밈 생태계는 사라지지 않을 것이다. 그저 투자자들의 포지션(자산)만 사라질 뿐”이라고 말했다. 이어 “폰지 사기와 관련된 많은 토큰이 사라졌지만 일부는 살아남았다. 진짜 문제는 무엇이 토큰의 생존을 좌우했느냐는 것이다. 시장에서 살아남기 위해서는 종교적인 수준의 열정과 믿음이 필요하다”고 덧붙였다.
