코인텔레그래프에 따르면 미국 증권거래소 MEMX(멤버스익스체인지·2020년 골드만삭스 등이 투자한 신규 증권거래소)가 증권거래위원회(SEC)에 21쉐어스의 XRP 현물 ETF를 상품 기반 신탁(Commodity-Based Trust)으로 분류해 상장할 수 있도록 승인 요청했다. 매체는 "이번 신청은 미국 거래소가 XRP를 포함한 현물 ETF 상장을 추진하는 노력의 일환"이라고 평가했다.
