암호화폐 ETP 발행사 21쉐어스(21Shares) 전략 책임자 엘리에저 은딩가(Eliézer Ndinga)가 X를 통해 LIBRA 토큰 스캔들은 밈코인 열풍의 정점을 알리는 신호라고 말했다. 그는 "런치패드 플랫폼 내 보다 강력한 리스크 관리 조치가 필요하다"며 "또한 보다 명확한 글로벌 규제가 필요하다. 특히 정부 관료의 자체적 밈코인 출시와 관련해서는 더욱 그러하다. 혁신은 모든 사람에게 개방되어야 하지만, 소비자를 보호하고 사기를 방지하기 위한 보호책은 마련되어야 한다"고 강조했다.
