미국 몬태나주 하원이 비트코인 비축 법안이 찬성 41표, 반대 59표로 부결됐다고 코인텔레그래프가 전했다. 하원 공화당 측은 비트코인 비축으로 세금 수익을 극대화할 수 있다고 주장한 반면 민주당 측은 세금을 투기에 사용할 수 없다며 반대표를 던졌다. 매체는 "몬태나주의 BTC 비축 법안은 폐기됐으며, 이를 처리하려면 법안을 수정해 다시 의회에 상정해야 한다”고 설명했다.
