코인데스크에 따르면 미국 자산운용사 스트라이브(Strive) CEO 매트 콜(Matt Cole)이 게임스탑(GME) CEO 라이언 코헨(Ryan Cohen)에게 BTC를 준비 자산으로 채택할 것을 촉구하는 내용의 서한을 보냈다. 콜은 서한에서 "현금을 보유할 경우 실질 수익률이 마이너스가 되지만, BTC는 대표적인 인플레이션 헷지 수단이다. 게임스톱은 BTC에 집중하고 다른 암호화폐는 피해야 한다"고 강조했다.
