데일리허들에 따르면, 러시아 중앙은행 총재 엘비라 나비울리나(Elvira Nabiullina)가 최근 한 연설에서 "디지털 루블화에 대한 파일럿 테스트는 순조롭게 진행되고 있다"고 말했다. 그는 "현재 15개 은행과 약 30개 업체에 소속된 1,700명의 고객 그룹이 파일럿 프로그램에 참여하고 있다. 추후 프로그램 범위는 확대될 것이다. 이를 통해 우리는 은행, 기업, 정부의 스마트 컨트랙트에 대한 관심을 확인했다. 디지털 루블은 스마트 컨트랙트라는 기술에 더 많은 기회를 제공할 수 있다"고 설명했다.
