세계 최대 스테이블코인 USDT 발행사 테더(Tether)가 공식 블로그를 통해 "20년 이상 대규모 자산운용사를 감사해왔던 업계 베테랑 사이먼 맥윌리엄스(Simon McWilliams)를 3일 테더의 신임 최고재무책임자(CFO)로 임명했다"고 밝혔다. 테더는 "신임 CFO는 테더의 투명성 제고와 규제 준수 강화를 이끌 것"이라고 덧붙였다.
