연합뉴스에 따르면 김병환 금융위원장은 "사업자 진입·영업 규제, 가상자산 유통공시 규제 등을 아우르는 가상자산법 2단계 입법안을 조속히 마련하겠다"고 밝혔다. 그는 "최근 미국 트럼프 정부 출범을 계기로 글로벌 가상자산 제도의 변화가 조금 더 빠르게 진행될 것으로 예상되므로 이러한 글로벌 논의 흐름에 맞추겠다"고 말했다.
