미국 통화감독청(OCC)은 은행이 수탁(커스터디), 스테이블코인 사업, 노드 운영 같은 비트코인, 암호화폐 서비스를 제공할 수 있다고 보도자료를 게시했다. OCC는 2020년 은행의 암호화폐 서비스 제공을 막았었다. 폭스비즈니스(FB) 기자 엘리노어 테렛은 "은행들이 디지털 자산 사업에 본격적으로 뛰어들 가능성이 높아졌다"고 평했다.
