뉴욕멜론은행(BNY)이 서클과 파트너십을 확대해 특정 고객들이 서클과 직접 USDC를 사고팔 수 있는 서비스를 제공할 예정이라고 디인포메이션이 소식통을 인용해 보도했다. 기업공개(IPO)를 추진하고 있는 서클 입장에서는 이번 파트너십 확대가 큰 도움이 될 것이라고 매체는 설명했다. 앞서 서클은 지난 2022년 4월 자사 준비금 520억 달러에 대한 커스터디 기관으로 BNY를 선정한 바 있다. BNY는 미국에서 가장 오래된 은행으로, 운용자산은 46조 7,000억 달러에 달한다.
